East Anglian 16mm Group
Site of the East Anglian Area Group of the Association of 16mm Narrow Gauge Modellers.

East Surrey 16mm Group
A very active local area group of the Association of 16mm narrow gauge modellers. Meets every couple of weeks at St. Nicholas' Schools, Merstham. The annual "Merstham Model Steam Show" is one of the major events of the 16mm year.

George's Technical Tips Page
George Schreyer's list of "Large Scale Railroading Tips" is based on the electric powered American G-scale scene so don't expect to find live-steam tips but there is a lot of information here and much of it is directly applicable to our 16mm NG modelling.

US commercial site exclusively for Large Scale (meaning "Garden Railway") Trains.

Live Steam Model Railroad in Germany
Bags of information here on live steam model railroading in Germany. Not only garden railways -  the "ride-on" scales are represented too but there are some nice narrow gauge locos among the pictures of these. Among the links on the "Links" page is one to the firm "Regner" ( Feldbahn and 1:22.5 scale live steam kits).
The site, maintained by list member Gerd Karl, is in German.

Rails in the Garden (RitG)
Rails in the Garden Incorporated is an Australian group based in NSW that enjoys operating 16mm live steam narrow gauge models and exhibiting their portable layout at public exhibitions. They also publish the Rails in the Garden newsletter with subscribers from all over Australia.

Royal Horticultural Society
Useful if you know the "16mm" plant you want. In the RHS "Plant Finder" - type in the Genus, Species and Cultivar of the plant you want and a list of (UK) suppliers is given. The general "Search" function may lead to other useful information.

Signalbox
A web site is all about railway signalling. Primarily describing the principles behind railway signalling in Great Britain, but some coverage of signalling around the world will also be found. Emphasis is on the older, mechanical signalling.
