Suppliers of kits, steam, petrol and hot-air engines, machinery and spares, books and manuals. N
ot the usual engineering supplier as most of their stock is usually pre-owned and a good proportion is unusual.

Hobby's - The Modelmaker's Website
Enough information, in an alphabetical list, to whet the appetite here. For full details of what you can order from Hobby's though, you will need to order their catalogue (they call it an "annual"). You can subsequently order materials on-line but it is not a secure site.

Follow this link to the CAD Manufaturing Solutions site for a free copy of their IntelliCAD draughting programme. They say: "This is the basic, no-frills package from the IntelliCAD Technology Consortium. This free download will give you an example of the IntelliCAD application, but please be aware that this free release can be several versions behind CMS IntelliCAD 2001 in both bug fixes and improvements."

Muffet (S.H., Limited)
"The Gear Specialists" - All sorts and sizes of gears in various materials. The online catalogue is comprehensive but downloading (per section) in  PDF format is time consuming and the subsequent browsing with Adobe Acrobat may not be everybody's cup of tea.

Phoenix Precision Paints
Although "Precision Paints" makes me think of rivet counters this site is well worth a visit. Their Superspray has been mention in the e-group as have the Bob Moore lining pens. No direct online ordering but the catalogue and pricelist is there and we order by e-mail and pay by credit card.
