Engineer. Manufacturers & Stockists for BA Screws, Nuts, and Washers Sheet and Bar
Suppliers of kits, steam, petrol and hot-air engines, machinery and spares,
books and manuals. Not the usual engineering
supplier as most of their stock is usually pre-owned and a good proportion is unusual.

details of what you can order from Hobby's though, you will need to order their catalogue
(they call it an "annual"). You can subsequently order materials on-line but it
is not a secure site.

"The Gear Specialists" - All sorts and sizes
of gears in various materials. The online catalogue is comprehensive but downloading (per
section) in PDF format is time consuming and the subsequent browsing with Adobe
Acrobat may not be everybody's cup of tea.
Although "Precision Paints" makes me think of
rivet counters this site is well worth a visit. Their Superspray has been mention in the
e-group as have the Bob Moore lining pens. No direct online ordering but the catalogue and
pricelist is there and we order by e-mail and pay by credit card.
A J Reeves & Co (Birmingham) Ltd. who many will
know as "the world's largest stockist of model enginering supplies" are now
under new ownership and continue to offer the same products and services under the name
The Sherline Products On-Line Catalogue. Well made and informative site. On the
Resources page we learn: "The original design for the Sherline lathe was developed by
Australian engineer Harold Clisby in the 1960's".
