The Selmer Maccaferri Acoustic Guitar was played by the famous
Jango Reinhardt in the mid 1940 - 1950's. His Jazz Style and method of
playing was unheard of in those days. The guitar itself has a relative
large body and the big D-hole reflects a lot of the string vibrations,
thus resulting in a high volume.
The Spruce top has a "French-Polish". The Indian Rosewood back and
sides are finished in Cellulose Lacquer.
